Green Day

I love Green Day!

I'm a fan since I was in high school,
"Good Riddance(Time of Your Life)", "Give Me Novacaine", "Basket Case" and "Walking Contradiction" are indeed such legendary songs in the history of Punk Rock ^^

The new album "21st Century Breakdown" is such a great one with awesome lyrics!
It's also a "Rock Opera" like the previous album "American Idiot" *about which most fans have non-decent thoughts thus I enjoy listening to pretty much*
Then again, I can assure you that "21CB" sounds much better than "American Idiot" does...
The album is split into 3 acts: "Heroes and Cons", "Charlatans and Saints", and "Horseshoes and Handgrenades".

And basically this rock opera album is explained by Mike Dirnt (the bassist) as followed:
"Set in Detroit, its loose narrative follows a young couple named Christian and Gloria through life in the United States following the presidency of George W. Bush, as they deal with the mess our 43rd president left behind and spin their wheels and fight their way through a new century already going terribly wrong."

So why all of a sudden I felt the urge to write about Green Day and their new album?
Well, as of today, their 2nd Single "21 Guns" is out!
(Know Your Enemy was the 1st single which unfortunately imo is the most ordinary song in the album...)
Anyways, I can forget about the past since "21 Guns" is the song I like the most in this album
